Express Yourself!
Barbara Follett visited the ‘graffiti wall’ at St Hugh & St John's Church in Mobbsbury Way on Thursday 6th September.
Mrs Follett said, “It is great for young people to have the space to express themselves safely and creatively. The Launchpad project is inspiring and fun for children and families.”
LaunchPad is an outreach project working with primary aged children and their families with the aim of 'helping them to reach new heights'.
Launchpad Local is billed as a ‘safe, creative and fun environment’ for school years 3-6, every Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 8pm. Children can enjoy games, crafts, music, drama and have access to a tuck shop.
LaunchPad is not run directly by the church, but by Tracy Plumpton, who works for Bridge Builders.
