Every little flower that opens
Barbara Follett officially opened the Knebworth Flower Festival on Friday 22nd June at St Martin’s Church.
Mrs Follett said, “I was really impressed with all the flower arrangements. Each one offered something different. From the largest to the smallest they were, quite simply, beautiful. So was the singing by the Stevenage Male Voice Choir and the playing by the Hermoine String quartet. The piece specially composed by Samatha Jollett was a joy to listen to.”
For those without a horticultural turn of mind, this week’s Knebworth Festival will have something for everyone, a Garden Fete, Concerts, Talks on Natasha Rambova and The Garden City Movement, a Barn Dance and Cliff Richard Tribute Concert.
