Fifty Years in Construction
I presented Knebworth resident, David Ansell, with an award to mark his fifty years service to the construction industry at the Bedwell Community Centre.
Mr Ansell has worked as a bricklayer for fifty years and thoroughly deserves this award. He is one of the pioneers who helped to build Stevenage and to make it what it is today.
UCATT was formed in 1971 to represent all building trades. It is Britain’s only specialist construction workers union with over 120,000 members employed in all building trades, in both the private and public sectors.
