The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

Barbara Follett MP joined the thousands of other Hertfordshire residents who switched their kettles on for Macmillan Cancer Relief's World's Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 29th September.

Mrs Follett would like to say a big “thank you” to everyone who came along to her constituency office for tea, coffee, cake and a chat on Friday. She had a great time and over £100 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Relief.

Mrs Follett was very pleased to hear that hundreds of other people across the County had also held coffee mornings. She said,  “With one in three people in the United Kingdom likely to be diagnosed with cancer at some time in their lives this is a cause that is very close to my heart. The funds raised by these events will make a real difference to the lives of those who have cancer.”
