First African and Caribbean store opens in Stevenage
Barbara Follett MP was delighted to attend the official opening ceremony of the Rainbow Store at The Oval in Stevenage on Friday 16th July.
Rainbow Stores Ltd is the first African Caribbean shop in Stevenage. It sells food, drinks, hair products and cosmetics which are largely aimed at the African and Caribbean communities in Stevenage. However, everyone is invited to try something new and exotic from Rainbow’s wide range of products. The shop is open Monday to Saturday, with late closing at 8pm on Fridays and Saturday.
Mrs Follett said “It is wonderful to have such a store in Stevenage. There is something for everyone in it”.
