Are you thinking about Christmas yet?
No? Well, the children at Lodge Farm School have been since June, when Barbara Follett MP launched her annual ìDesign a Christmas Cardî competition.
The children have been working throughout the summer on their designs. The winning design, by 4-year-old James Marshall, will appear on the Christmas card that Mrs Follett and her husband Ken will be sending to their family and friends this Christmas.
Mrs Follett visited the school on Friday 19th September to present the prizes to the winners. As usual, the standard was very high and choosing a winner extremely hard.
Mrs Follett said ìAll of the cards were very good but, in the end, I had to choose one and I chose James's because it was clear and very Christmassyî.
