Kids on-line in Benington
Children as young as five will reap the benefits of using computers at Benington Primary School, Stevenage MP Barbara Follett learned when she visited the school on Friday 6th December.
The school invited Mrs Follett to open their new computer suite which they have funded from a capital grant. The ten computers are linked to the internet and are loaded with education software. Every child in the school will be able to acquire basic computer skills at a young age, equipping them with vital skills for the future.
Mrs Follett said "Computer skills are essential in today’s world. The earlier you start, the better."
