Temporary workers are one in a million!
Stevenage MP Barbara Follett visited Choice Recruitment in Stevenage on Friday 18 October during their Open Day to mark "National Temporary Workers Week".Over one million temps work in the UK every week, including nurses, drivers, secretaries and call centre operators. Every year, the temping industry grows by 15%. The Recruitment and Employment Confederation is the trade association for the recruitment industry and supports and recognises temps. Recruitment agencies that belong to the Confederation have to adhere to a stringent code of practice and operate to high ethical standards.
Choice Recruitment was established in 1989 and now has six branches based in Hertfordshire, East Anglia and North London. They provide office and light industrial staff to a wide range of clients.
Mrs Follett said "Choice are to be congratulated on celebrating temporary workers and their role in our economy."
