Christmas is just around the corner….
….even though it may seem like weeks away. Trotts Hill School in Stevenage started thinking about the festive season in July, when local MP Barbara Follett launched her "Design a Christmas Card" competition.
Mrs Follett visited the school on Friday 11th October to present the prizes to the winners. The overall winner was Sorsha Roberts, whose design will appear on the Christmas card that Mrs Follett and her husband Ken will be sending to their large family and many friends this Christmas.
Mrs Follett said "All the entries were first class but Sorsha’s snowman in a pinstripe suit and bowler outside No 10 Downing Street was perfect for a politician."
