Stevenage school celebrates achievements
Stevenage MP Barbara Follett was guest speaker at The Thomas Alleyne School in Stevenage on Friday at their annual Speech Day.Mrs Follett joined staff and parents in recognising and celebrating the many achievements of the school's students. She presented the pupils with a selection of external examination certificates and school prizes and awards.
Speaking during the evening, Mrs Follett said "Tonight we celebrate the achievements and successes of three groups of people ≠ pupils, parents and teachers. They are all to be congratulated for their tenacity, dedication and sheer hard work."
