MP praises local hospital
Stevenage MP Barbara Follett has praised the hard-working staff at Lister Hospital in Stevenage for all the care and attention she received during her recent stay.Mrs Follett was admitted to Lister Hospital on Tuesday 20th November, suffering from an acute kidney and bladder infection.
The infection developed after a recent bout of the Îflu. She was put on a course of intravenous antibiotics and has since made excellent progress. Mrs Follett was discharged on Saturday 24th November.
Speaking from her home in Knebworth, Mrs Follett said "I am glad to have a hospital like Lister so close at hand. Thanks to them, I am much better now but have been told to rest for two weeks ç and I really am going to try to do so."
