Community pharmacy in Codicote

Stevenage MP Barbara Follett saw the contribution that community pharmacies make to the delivery of health care last Tuesday (11 September) when she visited Falconer's Chemist in Codicote.

Community pharmacies form a network of care, supporting patients, carers, young mothers and senior citizens. They see 6 million people a day across the UK and are an instantly available source of advice on minor ailments. This visit was arranged by the Hertfordshire Local Pharmaceutical Committee.

Mrs Follett said "I found my visit to Falconer's very interesting and will do all I can to encourage the expansion and development of community pharmacies".
