Fairtrade Fortnight – make a difference
Barbara Follett is keen to highlight the start of Fairtrade Fortnight which runs from February 25th to March 9th.
Mrs Follett said, "The Fairtrade movement has made real positive difference to the lives of thousands of producers in developing countries.
"This Fortnight is an ideal opportunity to raise public awareness about the benefits of Fair Trade. By encouraging the people of Stevenage to buy more Fairtrade products, we will be helping producers in developing countries to receive a fair price for their products and improve their working conditions.”
