Stevenage CLP Dinner a real success!
Barbara Follett MP welcomed the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, the Rt Hon Harriet Harman QC MP, to Stevenage on Saturday 23rd February to speak at the Stevenage Labour Party’s annual dinner.
Mrs Follett said; “I was really pleased that the Secretary of State was able to come to our town and see for herself how much it has changed in the past few years. I know that she was impressed with what she saw and the drive and energy of our local Councillors and Labour Party Members.”
The Secretary of State gave an inspiring speech about her commitment to working in government to fight for equality and fairness for all.
