Enter the Blackberry Women and Technology Awards
Barbara Follett MP is keen for businesswomen in Stevenage to enter the prestigious Blackberry Women and Technology Awards 2008.
The awards celebrate the achievement of women using technology, within and beyond the IT sector. They are open to organisations of all sizes and women from all walks of life.
Mrs Follett said: “These awards offer women from all backgrounds the opportunity to showcase their work on the national stage. It doesn’t matter if you are working within an SME or in the public sector as long as you are succeeding using technology – these awards offer a real opportunity to gain recognition for your achievements and it would fantastic to see a winner from Stevenage”.

There are eight categories which recognise the public and private sectors, academia, media and SMEs. There are also two new categories focussing on the under 30s and best female mentors. The awards will also recognise organisation most committed to advancing female talent.
